Two Spirits – with Matt from This Mortal Flesh

Thank you to Matt from This Mortal Flesh for collaborating with me on this one.

——————

sweet incantations
float with the salted lavender breeze
intoxicating—revitalizing senses…
invocation of feelings thought dead

Heartbeats skipped
breaths captured in the absence of a sigh
provoking the sweet tears
once enslaved behind saddened eyes.

moonlight scintillates
upon her bay of lost tears
as they break free of human form
two spirits— undulate as one

His of fervent passion
hers of gossamer dreams,
their dance an exhibition of desires
only to be perceived by the passing constellations.

vast is the ocean of her allure
his inhibition swallowed by her waxing tides
as waves of climax wash jealous sands…
two lovers—anchored on the shores of ever night

A second is an eternity in his embrace
their spirits coalesce, an everlasting dalliance
to be infinitely caressed by that of the loving tide,
two spirits molded as one; joined sumptuously.

their catharsis birthed with breaking sun
purged now from the past’s debris
this new creation will face the world
two spirits—two lovers—one sea.
